Linux laptop with Colemak keymap

It has been a month or so I started using Colemak keyboard layout instead of QWERTY. I now struggle with QWERTY.

This is the /etc/default/keyboard I use on the laptop.

XKBMODEL="pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="us"
XKBVARIANT="colemak"
XKBOPTIONS="ctrl:swap_lalt_lctl_lwin"

BACKSPACE="guess"

Matias Ergo Pro Keyboard

It is a really comfortable keyboard.

Function and a few keys, you can assign any keystroke you want.

Function and a few keys, you can assign any keystroke you want. As I have to type the password million times a day, this is absolute life (and finger) saver.

I tried to make USB HID with Arduino but it’s somehow not that reliable. 🙁
